The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, through the work of its members and volunteers, operates to:
- Provide programs, services and activities that are valuable to both the Chamber’s membership and the community as a whole.
- Initiate and foster long-term programs that will improve the quality of life and the development of business in the community.
- Facilitate a business climate in which diversely owned companies can develop, network and function together as a community.
- Positively recognize the achievements of the business community and promote its contributions to the community at large.
- Initiate, develop and foster mutually beneficial programs with the educational community.
- Encourage a cooperative local government climate favorable to and understanding of the needs of the business community.
- Maintain a meaningful dialogue with state and federal government officials on matters of importance to the community.
- Maintain a coordinated effort of economic development in the Greater Lafayette community with the various agencies sharing in that mission.
